Club SASA (South Asian Student Alliance) First Meeting Fall 2005

They talked about their plans for the coming year, introduced the Cabinet to new students, and had a variety of groups talk - including Sigma Beta Rho and Delta Phi Omega, the Indian frat and sorority. SBR had gotten funding last year to put together a CD that also links to online, with almost all the resources a student at SBU needs to know all in one place - and they gave out those CD's to everyone. There was also a moment of silence for Chris Smaria, the Indian student who died this past summer, and who was a activist in the Indian student community.
